BREAKING NEWS: 20 minutes ago Congress just repealed the net neutrality law. The FCC just killed net neutrality. RIP Net Neutrality, 2015-2017

IT'S NOT OVER
There's still one more thing we can turn to: the Congressional Review Act (CRA).
The CRA lets Congress nullify actions done by the FCC, such as repealing Net Neutrality laws. While most bills need 60 votes in order to pass, the CRA needs a majority of at least 83%.
So it's not over. But if we don't do anything now, it will be.

dunno if im thinking this is far too simple but, i was thinking couldn't people just switch to one of the few isp's which won't charge extra? i get alot of companies will do extra charges but i don't think ALL of them will. so hey, i don't think it's all doom and gloom.

But the problem is that most Americans only have one or two choices. People can't just switch when they're given only 1 other option or maybe even no other options.

HA you mean Democrats and 14 house republicans are against the repeal you still got a long way to go especially since democrats are acting like its a war against the republican to not get this passed this makes it a pertisan issue so the party will most likely vote with there party im guess the the biggest hurdle that the bill has is getting through the house and trust me you need WAY more republican groups to even get close

This is extremely bad. For those who don't know, this will allow ISPs and mobile carriers to throttle any service they want, and can let them open fast lanes if companies pay them. Because of the lack of competition when it comes to ISPs, there's nothing stopping them from doing it despite the backlash they'll receive, because their customers have no other choice
