If they take away net neutrality, I'm gonna boycott wifi, because it's unfair for people that live off of money they get from their websites

Man im really in the minority here... Net Neutrality is scam, designed to lock in the technological dominance of those who are supporting it (aka comcast if you haven't heard they are lobbying AGAINST this repeal :oooo) After it's gone all kinds of different ISP competition will be built across the US. Repealing NN will be good in the long run and shake things up in the short term Net Neutrality's removal is not lobbied against by Comcast. It's a literal lie, they say they are lobbying against this repeal, however, statistics would prove otherwise: arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/11/comcast-asks-the-fcc-to-prohibit-states-from-enforcing-net-neutrality/ www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-switch/wp/2017/11/06/how-verizon-and-comcast-are-working-to-ensure-states-dont-pass-their-own-net-neutrality-bills/?utm_term=.03601b635149 www.phillymag.com/business/2017/11/21/net-neutrality-comcast-fcc-repeal/
Second off, it's not a scam. How is it scamming anybody? It's the opposite. The companies are only handed restrictions, as the companies, without it, would try to scam all Americans using their service. The competition would simply not exist simply because of network giants like Comcast, AT&T .etc being able to take advantage of this repeal to push back their competition. Small ISPs are even saying that they agree with a majority of things regarding Net Neutrality and Title II, however, they are usually run down because they have to spend tens of thousands of dollars towards the FCC to prove they are in fact following the rules. arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/07/how-title-ii-goes-beyond-net-neutrality-to-protect-internet-users-from-isps/
In the end, getting rid of Title II & Net Neutrality will be awful in the long term for consumers, and the giant network companies will prevail and kill off any competitors thus having a monopoly over the ENTIRE American ISP Industry. There aren't any "but"s or "maybe"s, this will for sure, 100% screw over America, and with the global economy that America has, will likely screw over the rest of the world. This repeal, and what the FCC are doing, is NOT okay a single bit.

Keep in mind that modern net neutrality rules have only been in place since 2015.

The European Union actually voted against it in 2015 lol: www.bbc.com/news/technology-34649067So, if Americans want to know how it would be to remove Net Neutrality, they can look at Europe. I hope this helps people get an idea.

If net neutrality manages to stay intact, then I’ll actually be pretty happy that all of this happened considering the fact that we currently have things like this

Kinda sucks that nearly all of our everyday problems can be traced back to corporate greed.
One more thing that sucks is how little people are willing to talk about this. I don't understand why people are just sick of seeing NN news plastered everywhere, because it's actually a big deal and in real danger.
I think I missed something. I'll look further into it. Sending an email now. Also signed the petition, we're at over 300k now.
