Well you also have to realize that kids or people with no brains in general do that as well, and they don't know any better. Some songs like ones by TLT, they should've already put songs on their Newgrounds account but since they never did, those people just upload their songs to Newgrounds to use it for a level. This will still happen even when all of this ends cause there are still little kids and idiots who want to use a certain song for their level. Which is why there neds to be a punishment for using an illegal song for a GD level. That won't do much except piss the people off and either attack Newgrounds, or even do it much more. |

No, like if you upload a gd level with a custom song and the song get banned, you get a week without the ability to use the creator, add a few days for every offense after. Actually you do. The same people want Geometry Dash gone from all stores. Stop being so self centred and give a shit about others, this is exactly the behaviour that got the community into this shit. Start caring about more than yourself for once. This guy is SO true. I'm not that self centred and I do care more than myself and that's why I think that this is actually a bad thing for all PC users who haven't bought GD yet. + It's not removed from Google Play yet. |

At least it hasn't gone completely out of whack. It's not as bad as mobile users such as me, but it's still pretty bad. Are people really so selfish and desperate to use their favorite song that they upload music that isn't theirs? And the music they upload isn't even good either.

I mean, yeah we have to deal with the consquences either way but... what could we have done? Robtop wouldn't have listened to us because he wouldn't have taken it as a real problem unless it came from newgrounds, and it's not like we could've just told them to stop, we know how they are. |

Yknow, I feel like the canceranusshit side of the community will get increasingly hostile towards the producers who choose not to allow their music onto the game, and their comments sections will just be the retards begging and giving futile death/dox threats and other edgy shite.

Most of the community are young players, who probably don't understand copyright laws and stuff. They won't understand why they can't upload their favourite fnaf song anymore or get songs from artists who opted out of GD. I think Robtop needs to find a way of properly explaining this to the children who play this game, otherwise problems will arise again...
