Newgrounds has definitely been very appealing, albeit to a different audience, way before GD showed up on the scene. So don't go saying that GD has contributed to NG in a significant way. Instead, the community has harassed composers, mods to the point that some people just can't take it anymore. Personally I'm vexed about the petition, but I also realized that we must appreciate the purpose of NG, remember its former glory and think about what we would really like it to be.

I think that if you download an "illegal" song to NG, you should get a punishment on gd too. I think you meant upload there, If that's the case you are gonna need to link your gd account with newgrounds in some way. |

The GD uploaders would just not link their accounts. The only way this would work is if it was required for everyone to link a GD account. |

Honestly we deserve it. The GD community is so toxic and I totally understand why Newgrounds did what they did. (The users mass flagged the game on steam). Our community needs a wake up call. And hopefully this is that call.

Start caring about more than yourself for once. This guy is SO true. I'm only saying what I'm saying because I love this game. I don't want to see it die, this game has provided me with hours of entertainment, some of the best friends I could ask for, and given me some of the best feelings of achievement since I started playing. This game is a place for me and countless others to feel like we belong somewhere. I truly love my group of gd players, and I love my subscribers and want to provide them with the game they have come for, but if this continues and the game dies, only people who currently own the game will get to experience the feeling of accomplishment you get when you finally beat that level that has been eluding you for so long. I want this game to flourish and do well, but if the community keeps giving the game the reputation it has, nobody will want to play it because of the community. We need a shift in attitude to keep the game alive. I've seen people do it, I've seen the community join together for a good cause, so I know its possible. We need to apologize to Newgrounds firstly, and then work on fixing our damages. I want the community I joined into back, I hate what it has become. |
