The character limit should at least be between 30-50 minimum, because for simple opinion questions you can't really be expected to write a paragraph or two about your favourite 2.1 level for example  Also the signatures should work like how they are in TouchArcade, you're only given a certain amount of lines to work with (For example, 4 lines like in TA). Videos and pictures shouldn't be allowed in signatures either as they'll most likely extend the signature length, and that videos and pictures aren't characters so if it was by character length, they won't have a boundary to stop. But other than that, I like the layout idea you've got going on! Or the images could be limited to a certain size. |

1. The ground rules. The rules that will apply to all boards will be simmilar/exact to what we have now. When entering the forums for the first time with a new account, you should be given an option to read the basic rules, kinda like a tutorial. No hacking, harrassing, drama, promotion, useless posts, etc. How about a reward for actually reading the rules, like scrap.tf rules? There should be a fake "I agree/understand" button at the bottom of the rules and a link within the actual rules that says, "Click here if you agree with the rules." If you click the link, then you get a medal or token or something, because most people are likely to scroll down and skip the rules. Just a fun idea that we should probably implement. Also, 120-130 characters per sentence? People often write important information with about 70-90 characters. How about lowering the character count to about 75-85 characters? |

Can we also add a maximum amount of characters used in posts? Maybe around 400-500 characters and could really reduce the amount of spam bots on here.
