The 250 characters for a post rule can be easily bypassed; you can make a simple 10 character post and then spam [b][/b][b][/b] at the end of your post  |

The lounge needs to be moderated more heavily. I have seen some things in there that are absolutely unallowed. This is why I said there needs to be a lounge mod, someone who can lock out of control lounge threads since most mods hate going into the lounge since the Nonsense Lounge was deleted ;3; added to your stuff, I vote for stricter execution of rules and warnings. and that 250 chars thing is genious Does this mean I can post k as much as I want since it won't count toward my post count? ;3; |

1. The ground rules. The rules that will apply to all boards will be simmilar/exact to what we have now. When entering the forums for the first time with a new account, you should be given an option to read the basic rules, kinda like a tutorial. No hacking, harrassing, drama, promotion, useless posts, etc. 2. The new forums structure. I already discussed on how the "Levels" should look like, however, I may as well give my two cents on what it should look like. The basic parts of the forums: -General -Levels -Off-Topic -Assistance -Suggestions -Promotion General contains the boards: -News -Changelogs (Official update changelogs for GD) -General Discussion Levels contain: -Sneak Peeks -(Mega)Collabs -Creator Contests -Submitted Levels (This should contain sub-boards: Featured/Starred Levels, Great Levels, Good Levels, Decent Levels, Needs Improvement) -Staff Picks -Archived Levels (for incomplete level suggestions that were locked) Assistance contains: -Game Support -Forum Support Suggestions contain: -Game Recommendations -Forum Recommendations Off-topic contains: -Forum Games -Lounge Promotion should contain: -Social Media Promotion -Twitch Promotion -YouTube Promotion 3. The ranking system. The ranking system in the forums work in an unfair way, where you can ****post and get to Deadlocked. Oh, nonono. That's not how it will work. Very good ideas, but I think that 3 different kinds of Level Judges isn't really necessary. As for the sigs, it could probably just be "No adding pictures/gifs/videos" since they are the only ones that cause ridiculously big sigs. And you forgot about the List and Records Board B) |

Or why do posts or rank matter :V it's not like it matter or anything to the forum, even though I know sh*tposts are a problem, adding 250 character to count as a post is a bit too much.

The character limit should at least be between 30-50 minimum, because for simple opinion questions you can't really be expected to write a paragraph or two about your favourite 2.1 level for example Also the signatures should work like how they are in TouchArcade, you're only given a certain amount of lines to work with (For example, 4 lines like in TA). Videos and pictures shouldn't be allowed in signatures either as they'll most likely extend the signature length, and that videos and pictures aren't characters so if it was by character length, they won't have a boundary to stop. But other than that, I like the layout idea you've got going on! |
