So, as we all know, the Geometry Dash Random Trigger will be a feature added in 2.2
But, i don't think it should be added, because it will cause many problems.
So, for example, let's say someone made a level with a random trigger. The trigger will either make the level a demon, or make it really easy.
A moderator could get the easy version, and set the difficulty to easy. But, other users can get the demon version and say "How is the difficulty easy if it is a demon???"
What do you guys think about this?

The mod should just do multiple practice runs. If the random trigger changes actual gameplay the level usually won't get rated, so it should be added

But shitty creators like KrmaL will just spam it all over their levels and still Robtop will fcking rate them. So it would be better if its not added

So it would be better if its not added regardless of what you think about krmal overall, what indicates to you that he seems like the person who might overuse that feature specifically? please don't derail yet another thread to use as a soapbox for your opinions about a specific creator, see if you can actually contribute to the discussion by pointing to something in particular that leads you to believe he would be likely to spam the random trigger in his levels. it's fine to have strong opinions about creators you like or dislike, but you've made us all well aware of your position by now, so there's no point in repeating it constantly unless you have some additional information to contribute that relates to the topic of the thread you're posting in.

So i think ramdom trigger should not be introduced so that the festured page in 2.2 isnt flodded with horrible levels. Or it should be designed so that only design objects can be randomised. Not gameplay objects.

well, I'm curious to hear how krmal is a good example of misusing teleporters, given that in all of his solo demons (rearmed, lit fuse, conical depression, heartbeat, falling up, hi, black blizzard, xo), there is a grand total of two teleporters in any of those levels (at 1% in conical depression and at 68% in black blizzard, neither of which contributes to the difficulty in any meaningful way). it's also interesting that you say that he misuses move triggers, since none of his levels have any moving gameplay except for the last wave in rearmed, which I will concede is quite bad (I'm not counting the heartbeat wave, it's literally just spam). and I'm not sure what exactly constitutes alpha trigger misuse, but you're welcome to explain what that is and provide an example.

You’re missing the point entirely. These are JOKE levels, where the intention of the level was not MEANT to be good, and in fact utilized classic bad tropes for dramatic and comedic effect. DRTL was MEANT to be a bad level that misuses move triggers and is unbalanced, Invisible DL was MEANT to be a jab at invisible levels that get a rate despite not being that invisible, etc. Surely these are all rather subpar levels but that’s what they were MEANT to be. If anything, if you don’t like these levels, then I think they succeeded at what they want to do, because none of them were intended to be good and moreso were attempted to be levels that sacrifice quality for comedic effect, which works greatly. Meanwhile, Kraml’s more serious levels, as Bagley mentioned, don’t really abuse newer triggers to the degree that others certainly do. I can see why you don’t like them and that’s fine but I really think you’re obsessed with making unnecessary jabs at Kraml for no reason when it really has nothing to do with the topic at hand, and it’s quite obnoxious. Like how would it feel if I were to mention my favorite level, Morphine, in every sentence? It’d get rather annoying, right? That’s kind of the issue I have with what you’re doing. We already know what you think of Kraml, which is fine, but you’re being really obnoxious and childish by bringing him up in every single post you make, and derailing so many threads in the process. It’s fine to make jokes about it every once in a while, and it’s fine that you don’t like him, but PLEASE stop trashing him every chance you get to.
