Have you exprienced a terrible move glitch and accidentally saved over it?
Or maybe you accidentally deleted your level that you have worked on for years?
Don't worry, there is actually a solution for that!
This works for PC and Mobile too if you have access to the directory files.
1. After the incident, just exit the game normally and do NOT open your Geometry Dash yet.
2. Go to your Geometry Dash directory folder.
3. You should see these files:
- CCLocalLevels.dat
- CCGameManager.dat
- CCLocalLevels.dat.bak
- CCGameManager.dat.bak
4. Remove or move the CCLocalLevels.dat and CCGameManager.dat files somewhere else.
5. For the remaining two files, remove the .bak at the end.
6. Open your Geometry Dash again.
7. And there, you should see your previous save you made, as if you haven't played Geometry Dash the last time.
