Hello everyone,
So I had to delete the Geometry Dash app to save space on my old phone, but made sure to make a backup of all the data through the iCloud. I recently got a new phone, so I reinstalled the app, but before loading my data again, I noticed Meltdown had an update, so I decided to save my Meltdown data as well. I loaded my data in Geometry Dash, but then everything I have done in the game since the release of 2.1 was gone. I was able to preserve some of it with Geometry Dash World but there is still a lot gone. Is there anything I can do to retain my data? |

TimeLink Move to Game Support? There isn't much you can do, unfortunately. Try the things listed in the thread posted above. If those don't work, there's nothing else you can do.

when you said you backed up, was that through icloud or the in-game backup system? you should always use the ingame one. as for your data, you can try loading if you think you had more stuff at your last save, but apart from that, i don't know there's much you can do.

There may have been a bug when you saved the GD meltdown data. Try to go to the link roflmao suggested to try and get some more of your data, but I don’t think there’s much you can do. Sorry. Hello everyone,

No, not yet, those get added at 2.2 according to the game when you said you backed up, was that through icloud or the in-game backup system? you should always use the ingame one. as for your data, you can try loading if you think you had more stuff at your last save, but apart from that, i don't know there's much you can do. I don't think there's much you can really do unfortunately.
Once you saved your data, your previous save would be overwritten, so it would be completely gone. There's no way of getting the previous save back.
The only thing you can really do is just continue off with the save file you have left.

Ah well, thanks for the help everyone, I’ll try to regain my progress, but it will take a while, if only I could remember exactly what I lost.
