Am I the only one being worse when my cube/ball isn't symmetrical? I mean if don't see it directly like steamrolling or the ToE icon it's ok but like the jumper icon is cancer for me

I mean, the icon you choose (afaik) doesn't affect your ability to play unless your brain becomes confused by it. Perhaps the asymmetry just messes with you?
It doesn't happen to me, so sorry if I gave horrible advice.

Icons really impact your gameplay.
Cube : try using square shaped-ones.
Ship : find a pointy ship.
Ball : find a symetrical one.
UFO : your own preference.
Wave : find triangles.
Robot : your own preference.
Spider : your own preference.
Glow makes stuff fat. Turn it off, if you want to.

glow is ok. I'm messing up at the trails of the normal shop and fat spiders.

someday i could glitch a gdw icon to gd but it messed me up that hard that i chose a normal icon and it was gone

I mean if don't see it directly like steamrolling or the ToE icon it's ok but like the jumper icon is cancer for me cuz Mikha uses jumper icon I find it easier to fly with shark/ pheonix/ 800 user coins also i cant play with non triangular waves |

YES I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I use the 5500 stars icon. Maybe try that

Use an icon that's shaped like a square. I know the icon in my PFP is not square but that was a mistake of mine. I personally do not feel it affects how good you play, rather that certain icons are more satisfying to play with than others.

Try using a square icon. I used to not do that, and I feel like that was what was stopping me from getting at least semi-decent for a while.

I use the eagle ship.
Also, use the Shy Guy cube. The only thing is that I get so distracted when its upside-down for some reason.
I’ve done research on this and found that if you don’t choose your favorites, then it impacts your skill. Try using colors you like, and an icon set you like.

I already have a good icon i just wanted to now if i'm strange or not. And square icons with face trigger me either
