Try not to use newer icons unless ur flexing the ones that are very hard 2 get.
Try to use older icons because they don't have any extra shades and they only have 2 simple colors.

It's completely subjective what icons someone uses lol, people are allowed to use whatever they want to use. I do like the older icons personally but I don't hate the newer ones either. A lot of people may think this way bc many of the top players use older icons or solid colors, so the idea of those icons and colors making you a better player is out there, but I don't know if there's any real basis to that.
