This isn't exactly relevant to the songs, but I'm wondering about GD on Steam. I'm not going to try to explain, but I have some links. and
Is the Newgrounds guy legit or is he just seeking attention? Also, there have been rumors about Nintendo, that you just took it off yourself to fix bugs, etc. Can you clarify Rob? ;3;

Is the Newgrounds guy legit or is he just seeking attention? Also, there have been rumors about Nintendo, that you just took it off yourself to fix bugs, etc. Can you clarify Rob? ;3; Who knows? He may not even be a 'Newgrounds guy', just a frustrated NG artist. If the picture is true then he may not have the authority to represent newgrounds in this case by "newgrounds guy" I mean a staff member of newgrounds |

Regardless, the owners have worked out a solution that will hopefully be implement asap and both parties can stop fighting now. NG artists have an option to have their music in GD and there is now an extra layer preventing stolen songs from making it into the game. |

I'm wondering if Rob knows if he's staff or not, because he said that NG didn't have anything to do with GD being taken off of Steam. |

I love this idea, but Rob, you have WAY too much stuff to do on your own.
Rating levels, choosing daily levels, making updates, and now verifying new artists... I'm surprised you're fine doing all of this by yourself..

RobTopGames So what if an artist already has songs uploaded, but they've never been used in GD? Will those songs be unavailable? "Unknown artists are not the same as new artists. If you are working on a WIP and the song is already available, than the artist will still be available now. (Unless the song is removed by the artist or Newgrounds)" I assume they'll still be available. |

What exactly do you mean with "new" artists? I don't really get it. Just people who posted they're first song or something? How would that help? New artists = artists who register an account or upload their first song after I made this change. It will help because this should stop users who only create an account to upload music they did not create (copyrighted) Old artists with music already in the game will be unaffected. What about artists with music on newgrounds but not in the game? |
