The only improvement I can think of for the Forums is a couple more Staff here and there, but besides that the Forums are great.

Honestly I don't really like this forum, the only reason I'm on it is because I love Geometry Dash and want to be involved in the community. I spend almost all of my time on the forum on the demons list, and I see so much toxicity right there alone, so I will focus mainly on the top 50 list, here are my suggestions.
1: Mods, actually consider general community feedback, the general community still has a say in what happens on the lists, you guys are just supposed to put it all down. Let the community have their voices heard and taken into account.
2: Generally, GD players are assholes when it comes to expressing their opinions. If someone has a differing opinion to yours and you'd like to talk about it, then just talk about it, don't get defensive or offensive, just talk and agree that you two will disagree.
3: Judges, generally when I have a level judged, it's either fairly positive or very negative, and I'm fine with someone not liking my level, it lets me know how I can improve as a creator, but for gods sake can you be a bit less toxic when giving a negative review, I see so many reviews of levels where the judge just rips the level apart and in some cases goes on to take shots at the creator a bit, just review the level, and be done with it.
4: This one is to everyone, just be nicer in general. People in GD are so toxic now, I used to love coming on the forum because I enjoyed the interaction, now however, I get nervous whenever I see I've been quoted because I don't want to have an argument with someone about something as pointless as where a level goes on a list for a two dollar game. Just enjoy your game guys.

Just enjoy your game guys. wow nice response! 1. I agree. Some of the mods/staff never listen to suggestions, but no offense to those that do. 2. This problem comes from lack of staff watching places like the lounge. most staff don't enter there so flaming happens. I think that it stems from their and then carries on into discussion. 3. Earlier someone said that some of the level judges were mean. I think Megaman is trying to fix that. But it's true that you shouldn't rip apart the level and then accuse the creator. Most of them aren't even good creators, at least I think so. Still no offense to any of the Level Judges. 4. I just joined in mid-2.0 but it still was much better then. I loved the forums but now I get really scared from all of the foul language and flaming. also, think about what you would do if your parents rooted the forums.

But my username suggests I'm supposed to be toxic 8) Seriously speaking, I agree with you a lot on this point, and I don't speak for the rest of the judges here, but sometimes when you have to grind out reviews and the levels are TERRIBLE, some negative things can start spewing out. This is especially true if the creator is annoying; I judged a level where the creator was complaining how the judges didn't understand the "beauty" of the first level she sent and that she was just "a girl trying to create level" when her levels were hot garbage. Ffs, you enter the judging panel with an open mind to criticism, not just expect praise because you're there. These are the type of people we have a frosty air towards. I've managed to not personally attack somebody, but I'm the newest judge here so I haven't dealt with as many shitty levels as the others have. Try to bear with it, as 6 pages of mostly bad/decent levels to review is tiring to even think about.

Wow. I think that the creators need to be more patient with judging and that for requesting levels a disclaimer needs to be put, like WARNING, IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE OPINIONS AND HELPFUL CRITISM, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR LEVELS. SOME OPINIONS MAY BE NEGATIVE TO YOUR LEVEL. THE LEVEL JUDGES TRY NOT TO BE TOO HARSH.

I 100% agree with having an open mind to criticism, I got one of my levels smashed by a judge, it was kind of ride but I saw where they were coming from with their criticisms. I do see judges tear into levels that overall aren't that bad, and I think the judges should find kinder ways to word criticisms, especially since they are trying to improve the quality of levels made, when you're too harsh, you'll drive people away from creating. One of my friends, who makes amazing levels (N4TH4N) almost stopped creating at the peak of his career because a judge tore his level apart, and the things he complained about were really minor and nitpickiy things. I definitely see both sides, I just wanted to voice my opinion on judges.

I think that the judges then need to step up their game and word things better then. Generally when I go to other places, the criticism is very low in terms of harshness. but I am terrible at creating, due to my mobile limitations, so I generally avoid the level judging threads.

Just forbid overquoting and I'll be super happy. Overquoting - quoting a wall of text, in most cases with no acceptable reason. It is uncomfortable to read/scroll the page, and it just drives me mad when see wall of text quoted and senseless responds like "+1" or "k I agree" after it.
