I honestly like it a lot better without ranks; what do they prove anyways? Post count means nothing, post quality is what's important. I wouldn't mind seeing new ranks, but I just don't think it's really necessary.  except they aren't meant to prove anything in the first place and are just there because it makes the forum fun Got any other reasons for having them other than " they make the forum fun"? I think the forum is "fun" enough, I mean you have a nonsense lounge to basically break almost every forum rule; is that not fun? I honestly don't have a problem with posting ranks other than the fact that they can encourage spamming. For some odd reason, when you have forum ranks a lot of members like to sail up to the highest rank as fast as they can, and usually they resort to spamming. I wouldn't mind if ranks were brought back, I just don't want to see a bunch of spam in the forums again. |

And warnings have been a thing before, that's not why they were removed; you clearly have no idea what you're even talking about lol. Yes actually lol, now that i did some research and remembered, but anyway, now that i think about it, i really don't care anymore. i made this because the rules are very strict now, one tiny mistake and you get an immediate warn, so now that you guys can handle stuff, i thought it'd be fun to bring back these, but since it could cause more trouble to the staff, i really don't care now. |

Can someone give me a list of the ranks and how much posts you need per rank? I think each rank increased by 50-100, but once you hit 1000 (Clubstep) it increased by 500. The ranks were in order of difficulty of the main levels, and not by level order (Like Blast processing was gained before Clubstep) |

Fun fact: We originally had a vote for whether or not to remove the ranks, and we voted to KEEP them. However, they were removed a bit later.
Also, I didn't like the achievement ranks, the level names were better.

When I saw this forum for the first time those ranks were one of the things that really made this forum feel like it's made for Geometry Dash players and mainly based around it, it really had a nice effect. Why do you see the bad sides at first? |
