Thank you so much for explaining this to get those buttheads from complaining, hell my friend has a 50Hz and he's got 69% on CC, he has a 10 ms delay.

It does help you develop skills faster. Riot is a perfect example, before getting 144hz his hardest demon was Deadly Clubstep, after getting the monitor he beat 3 of the hardest demons in 4 days. Two months later he beat the hardest demon this game had ever seen. He could not have beaten Bloodbath if he didn't have the necessary "skill". And that skill he gained magically after getting a 144hz monitor, what's up with that? "A newbie won't really do more in Stereo Madness if he had 144Hz. This just has to do with your skill level. The more skilled a player is the more is the difference on gameplay between 144Hz and 60Hz." A newcomer won't go into beating Bloodbath right after getting 144hz, that is true. But 144hz really does help "develop skill" faster... I mean, if you beat Cataclysm then you're more skilled than you were before, right? And 144hz definitely helps you do that, beat hard stuff much faster, thus increasing skill much faster. "You can see more details in the game and due to that just react better, but only if you have the certain amount of skill for each occasion." You won't see more details in the level (unless you mean response time, which (assuming 5ms vs 1ms) does eliminate the ghosting effect), you simply see new frames faster. And there's a huge difference between 60 and 144hz. There's even a noticeable difference between 60 and 75hz. If you have 144hz you simply have the ability to react faster, and yes while it [your reaction time] does depend on the skill level, the monitor really has its share. It also depends on how you define "skill". In my case it means [if you're skilled] beating hard demons faster, not just general levels, also depending on your "experience" with the game, if you know what I mean. Okay, okay. You have many points there which I cannot disagree with, but IS THIS ALL WORTH IT? I mean should we kill all the GD players who have monitors with less than 144Hz or even in the worst case MOBILE PHONES AND TABLETS?! No we shouldn't. 144Hz monitors offer better experience which I haven't experienced myself so IDK. Yet, as this be NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO ACCUSE AND BEHAVE AWFULLY TO ANYONE WITH EQUIPMENT WORSE THAN THEM! Did ever say anything bad to Michigun because he uses a mobile device to play? Nope, I didn't. I agree, people shouldn't be forbidden from playing on a 144hz monitor. I would suggest adding 60hz, 144hz or mobile behind every player's record in the list but nobody would support me with that. It kind of is worth it. 144hz truly does make a huge difference and 60hz players should be credited (adding 60hz behind their records) for their effort... it takes a lot more effort to beat hard stuff on 60hz. It really does. It's pretty much cheating. But they shouldn't receive any hate of any kind just because they have better equipment, I agree.

Ok, I've been wanting to add onto this for a bit, so here I go.
I know there's a huge argument about hz, and how people say "hz automatically makes you better"
Here's what I have to say to that (along with this whole post):
Why. Why do you care so much about how it makes you better. We need to stop thinking about what hertz is but what hurt is.
Do you think that 144hz reduces effort to beat a level? It's like a different version of the game! It takes equal effort on the same level on a different version of the game.
Imagine 60hz is GD Meltdown with online levels, and 144hz is normal GD. (Pretend GD Meltdown has different mechanics)
Every level on meltdown would be like a v2 of every online level with new game mechanics. Same level, different mechanics.
YOU might be on 60hz, and say "Bloodbath isn't impressive, you beat it on 144hz" but what if YOU were the one who put time, energy, and effort into something, and finally accomplish it, only to be shot down by someone who is jealous, or ignorant, would you like that? That might be how all of these bloodbath beaters would be like.
Instead of pretending 144hz is a big ****ing advantage, pretend its a different game. Don't be ignorant, just see it in a different light.

Mercury Just wondering... Did you read the OP? Because Lunar made a bunch of points against what you just said; and they're all completely valid.

144hz DOES help reduce input lag, because of GDs poor optimization, but if you were able to make GD run in 144FPS without the vsync workaround, it would make less difference. Also the point about 144 FPS changing the game physics someone here is pretty valid, there's really a bunch of FPS based things going on, with the most noticeable thing on the first sight being the trail glitches. I also believe if RobTop patches all of the FPS based glitches, 144hz players would lose a significant advantage
