No, this is not a drama thread. I am just saying that some of the moderators on here need to do their job better. They need to lock threads that are spammish, delete posts that are unnecessary, and keep the forum safe. I feel like that is not happening right now. More and more users keep joining, which means more spam, more inappropriate threads that contain only

some moderators are fine, but ZeCookie is the one who I think is least moderatorish. (sorry cook) I find that most of his posts are spam, spam and spam. He still is a great person, but I don't think he is helping our community. My prediction is that this forum is going to get stranger and more inappropriate.

This forum has the best moderators I have seen to date. For you to be saying that moderators need to be doing a better job seriously surprises me, but perhaps that's due to my track record of finding the worst forums in the entire world because of constant flame wars, spam, adbots etc.
I personally don't find the need for moderators needing to do their job better. There are a large number of them for a forum of this size, there is almost always at least one online at any given moment, and most drama is normally dealt with quickly and efficiently. And besides, this forum has a very low rate of spam (depending on what you define as spam), drama or inappropriate activity.
I've said it before, things are just fine. The only thing I can see that possibly may need sorting is the removal of inactive moderators.

I doubt any of the mods have actually governed a real forum as a mod/admin, so I'd say they're inexperienced. |

THREE people quit (to my knowledge) within a week. That's not smooth. That's anarchy. People do. That's three "announced" quits, but how many other members do you think joined and left during that same period? A bit of drama happened and too many people overreacted. It has happened only the once in the months I've been on the forum. I'm used to this happening nearly daily on some forums I was on. Just because it happened once does not mean that more moderators are needed. You could have a million mods, but that won't stop drama from occasionally happening and nor will it prevent people from overreacting and quitting. |
