Some forums have debate lounges where people can put up their ideas or arguments and others can start constructive debates on any particular topic, be it politics, history, or even grammar.
Notice that I said CONSTRUCTIVE, because I believe that threads starting with "I heit obumuh cuz he critid isis" should be locked. Each argument should have reasons and evidence.
Flame wars should also be prohibited, as in an argument that turns into a fight or one that severes relationships between forum posters, you know what I mean.

The problem is, this community is so immature that we can't have an argument without it turning into a flame war :V From my experiences it doesn't matter how old someone is, flame wars still happen. The RoR (Rigs of Rods) forum was full of adults yet somehow there were multiple flame wars a day. |
