Gameplay: ...not bad. It's not buggy, and all the forms and some of the other portals were used, although I wished there was a bit more variety in some parts (like the robot and the ship) Decorations: Needs a lot of work. Here are some points to improve on: - Always make the BG and the Ground the same color. Otherwise, your level will look saturated and not good.
- Add decorations to the spike floors
- Don't make obstacles using the blocks with 4 outlines. (This is hard to explain, basically, instead of using |_| to make |______|, use the others, like |_|, | |, and | .
- Use other blocks and spies besides the default too!
- Use sawblades as well!
- Use fade time for the BG and the G color changes, so it looks less sudden
- Add pulsing objects, clouds, etc. to your level! It looks really empty.
- Don't spam invisible objects.
- Never use P1 or P2 as colors for decorations or blocks. This is 2.0, we have infinite color channels.
Music Sync: Very little. Only a few of the transitions seem to sync with the music (only played till 75%, so this isn't exactly 100% accurate). Music Sync is very important when making a level in GD, keep that in mind. Overall: Gameplay is decent but could be more interesting, decorations/design and music sync still need a lot of work. Needs Improvement
