Please make [.IMG=imglink] (without period) a thing, I'm so used to this format from other forums and not being able to do this really bothers me. If you do this now, the image will just be blank.

Because that's creating a command with a certain word, this is creating a whole new code that turns every thing entered into the command into a picture. I think mods can only edit single words at a time which would mean they have to make it a separate command for every single possible url which wouldn't work (sorry if this is confusing it's hard to explain ) |

I don't think you get the point. Ofcourse [.IMG] and [./IMG] work, but [.IMG=link] doesn't. |
