I've been grinding user coins on easy levels to get a color for my icon and I've come to realize that easy levels aren't really sight readable(most of the time). I noticed that often times these levels are gimmicky and introduce new "features" without giving you any hint of what they do. I also saw these levels do things like have coins that you have to use invisible orbs to get to or hide coins behind towers that normally kill you and have no difference in texture. My theory is that since these levels are easy the creators try to find ways to add creativity without out considering the player's experience. What do you think about this?

In my experience, creators don't sightread as often as they probably should, even for easy levels, so they don't think about how tough or annoying coins are to get for people who haven't played the level before. It also doesn't help that ever since 2.0, when user coins were first introduced, the standards for coins weren't all that great so some methods of hiding coins (namely just by making them tiny and/or opaque) have become overused, which makes them even more annoying. However, no matter how you feel about current rated levels, 2.2 is still comparatively in its infancy; while things have definitely been discovered in the almost 3 months it's been out, players in 2.1 had nearly 7 years to really squeeze every drop of potential out of the editor. With time I think new ways to get coins will be revolutionized, so hopefully they'll become less of a bother to collect in the long run, especially with the new achievements

A really easy way to grind coins or find them now is turning hitboxes in practice mode. You will notice any invisible orbs, which might help you find coins, my don’t go after any of the coins in Itzkibas levels though (the suck)

Because the further away a level is from 'demon' the more its gameplay is just supplementary. The levels main purpose is to be an art showcase first, the gameply is just there so you're not bored watching an auto level
