to immediately clarify first: this is not a problem with internet speed. this is also probably not a problem with the servers just being slow, as others do not seem to experience this.
that said, there is a very long delay whenever a server action is taken (loading a level, looking at map packs, searching anything, loading comments, etc), of about 5 to 10 seconds. for instance, if i click the download button on a 7 MB song, it will download very quickly, but it won't start for about 10 seconds.
this is very irritating with levels that have many audio assets, as they each have a massive delay, then download an asset, then have the same delay again, etc.
