Maybe he put in a space by accident? I know it's a stretch but still lol

On the other hand, the letters between the V and the h (not sure if the forum filters that) spell out a word that GD's in-game filter probably doesn't like, and these usually get converted to a hyphen (--). If this is happening, that would explain why it can't be used, so he could try changing that and seeing if it works (he can still change his username to something else later).
