So I've had the same GD account for like 9 years and its always worked fine but since 2.2 released I can't save my backup data off of my phone and I can't load my data onto my computer.
It gives me the exact message: Backup Failed. Please Try Again Later. Size: 1.08, (0.99 / 0.08)
I have no idea what this message means and I have tried all the usual fixes such as deleting downloaded levels and songs, Refreshing my login and I only have 3 custom levels with minimal objects so it can't be that. I haven't changed my username at all on this account. My device is an iPhone XR
My computer may be a different story since it is an M1 processor MacBook which steam tells me isn't supposed to run geometry dash so there may just be a problem with loading data due to that, but my phone is what concerns me since I can't save my data. Which means if I delete the app I'm gonna lose all my current progress since my last backup was over 4 months ago.
Has anybody experienced this problem? Does anybody know any possible fixes? Or is this a 2.2 bug that hasn't been fixed yet since it just released. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

(Copied from another thread bc this was what I experienced and my current understanding of what's going on) I haven't tried saving yet (bc I want to reload my last one on Steam and make wiser choices in the shop lol), but once I refreshed login it appears that I can load data (even though this doesn't work in Subzero yet, at least, so if you've played those games hopefully they were already in your save file). If nothing is working it's probably just a matter of how many people are playing now that 2.2's finally out, I imagine the servers could be taking a hit right now even with the upgrades.
