It's on RobTop's YT (RobTopGames) - looks like a lot of new interesting features will be added.

If nothing else I'm gonna be extremely happy to get some new unlocks, finally use leftover keys/orbs, and mess around with the editor a little just to see what's there.
Always gonna have a soft spot for GD but I don't think I really have the time or the dedication to make a full return to playing regularly.

Slightly disappointed to have to wait until November, but then again it's been almost 7 years anyway so I can wait a little longer lol

On one hand, all the new features look incredible and there are a literal metric ton of them.

On the other the delay is sad but I feel like it was inevitable. October seemed a bit optimistic in order to do a lot of networking stuff plus bug fixing on top of that.

Keep in mind how insanely optimized GD needs to be. Since the game is so punishing toward dying the game needs to be very consistent. To be consistent there needs to be very few bugs. Robtop did a good job with that with 2.1 but 2.2 has a lot more features so it lot of time to patch.

I just wish he set the deadline further away at the start. Although that shouldn't surprise anyone since Robtop has been historically bad at planning.

Overall I'm just glad it's close at the very least. Plus the update looks great and I'm very excited to waste even more hours on a meaningless 5 dollar cube game.
