I didn't have enough time to play the level for myself, but I'll still give feedback where I can.

The gameplay looks really fun.
There isn't any particular part that looks unbalanced compared to the rest of the level.
It does look like there is an increase in difficulty in the last 50% of the level, but it isn't too drastic.
Personally, I think the fake structures/blocks are really cool.
I'm a sucker for that kind of gameplay, so I may be a little bias towards the gameplay.

About the decoration, I personally like it.
It reminds me of late 1.9 when creators began to really perfect that style.
However, I don't think it's feature worthy, definitely rate worthy though!
If the decoration throughout the entire level was similar to the decoration in the last 50% of the level, maybe it'd be feature worthy.

I also really like the sync.
Portals, speed changes, jumps, orbs, and etc. all sync up pretty well throughout the entire level.

Overall, I really like this level.
I think you should also tweak the decoration in the update.
Make some miniscule changes that make some parts of the level feel less empty.
