so i tried to make this effect where an object at first was invisible and then turn visible with the alpha trigger but it wont work.
i figured out that if u make an object invisible on group 1 and then try to make it visible on group 2 it wont work. does anybody know a fix?

i meant when you use 1 group to make multiple objects invisible and then want only 1 object out of the many to turn visible.

hmm, after testing opacity seems to be property of group, not object and opacity of object is multiplication of opacities of all it's groups:

Yeah unfortunately there's no way to do what you[re trying to do, like bzzzz said, the opacity of an object is based on the opacities from all of its different groups multiplied together, and of course anything times 0 will be 0. Though depending on what you're trying to do, using toggle triggers or color triggers might be more convenient
