Hi guys, a few weeks ago, I lost access to my email which links to the Geometry Dash account (it's deactivated). Is there any way I can change my email? Or I just have to try to remember my password, backup my .dat files and pray that the hackers don't take over my account?
I'm desperately need help so any reply would be appreciated. Thank you.

try to remember my password If you have CCGameManager.dat backup from when you were logged in, you can get password from CCGameManager.dat: - go to https://gdccdated.glitch.me/index.xhtml using chromium-based browser like chromium, google chrome, vivaldi, brave, opera
- drag and drop CCGameManager.dat file on webpage or use file picker
- click on correct load encrypted (…) button
- click on open in dict editor button
- find button with GJA_002 and click on it
- value textbox is your password

wild that rob just stores people's passwords in plaintext wasn't he exposed for this by MghostiH in 2016 or something?? And it's not like Rob doesn't know the issue cuz I remember him making a big stink of the situation on the forum. He *still* hasn't fixed it? No wonder it's so easy to get "hacked" in GD 💀 |

Thank you. there are a few steps you can take to try to regain control of your account: Contact Geometry Dash Support: Reach out to the official support team of Geometry Dash and explain your situation. Provide them with as much information as possible about your account, including your username and any other relevant details. They may be able to assist you in recovering your account or changing the email associated with it. Password Recovery: If you haven't already, try to initiate a password recovery process for your Geometry Dash account. This usually involves clicking on a "Forgot Password" or similar link on the login page and following the instructions to reset your password. Check both your deactivated email and any alternative emails you may have used in the past for any password recovery emails. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Geometry Dash has 2FA??? Currently no as far as I'm aware, and I'm not even sure if it will in 2.2 since Rob seems to be notoriously lax on improving security in that area over the years. Asides from that, anyone who's played GD long enough will know that there is no team behind RobTop and the message looks kinda suspicious to me anyway, kinda like a bot. Could be just me though. |

By the way, is it possible to clone all the data from an account to another? I'm planning to create a new one with my new, activated email (ofc not the dead one). |
