What is the worst Geometry Dash main level in your opinion and why?
Is it because of the song, the gameplay, block design? You know, explain it.
Just asking this because I'm curious.
For me, it HAS to be Clutterfunk.
First of all, the song is so annoying for me. In my opinion, it has to be the worst Waterflame song used in the main levels I have heard. Second of all, some of the parts in the level are just straight up boring or annoying like the extremely tight ship at the start or the almost last part of the level which is just orb spam or the second ship. Third of all, the block design is honestly boring with the majority of the level just being black blocks, and when it does change it doesn't really try to be unique even tho there is so many potential to do so.
But that's just my opinion, so what do you think is the worst level?

For me it is
CYCLES
Because:
1. Loads of triple spikes in the beginning.
2. Boring ball gameplay
3. Copy pasted, unoriginal and annoying ship(for first time players)
4. Overuse of reverse portals towards the end
5. Boring colours.
6. Almost no sync (the song is good but not redeeming)

While there are some parts of the main levels I really don't like, (Memory part in geomatical denominator I'm looking at you)
I think deadlocked is probably the worst one.
Literally half of my deaths were at the first and final wave which were the main chokepoints for me. (Yes I suck at wave how can you tell?)
Plus the final ship is total garbage even if I did fluke all of it when I first beat it lol.

Probably Deadlocked. I was never really a fan of how moving blocks were added and used in the game, and while I was lucky to never die past like 70% in the level, I remember the last 20% being annoying to practice because it was hard to correlate where you died to where the blocks were supposed to be

Base after base. It just seems like pointless filler, never introduced anything new or memorable
stereo madness is the first level
back on track has the jump pad
polargeist has the jump orb + iconic black out part
Dry out has a banger song and gravity portals
Cant let go had the annoying upside down part. While it didn't introduce anything new, it made you feel so much more powerless compared to the previous 5 (bob included), which made it very memorable in a traumatic fashion.
Jumper has a good song 2 even if it's mostly the same features as the rest combined
Base after base is just...forgattable. I beat it in 19 attempts when I started playing, which dwarved every other level at the time despite being the 5th level. You just kinda go through it so fast u don't remember it. Also song is mid

While I do enjoy most of the levels, Deadlocked was the least enjoyable out of them. The wave parts are really hard (esp. on mobile!) and a ship part at 80% is just complete memory. Some other parts like the first ship or the last UFO also require a bit of memory, and that's not how levels are supposed to be. It's unpredictable and learny. Also, it has some bugs on 60Hz, but that's mainly a mobile issue

Can't Let Go. I absolutely despise the level mainly because of the 3rd secret coin at the end when you're upside-down (I think) really I just never liked it, xStep kinda sucks also but it's not too bad. ;3;

There's no audience here for it to be an "ebin troll." Plus there's no instant gratification considering nobody will reply for hours (if they even), and the troll attempts have been extremely lukewarm (knock on wood) |
