So basically whenever I alt+tab in or out of the game, the screen goes black for like 3-5 seconds. Is there any way to fix it?

if it doesn't majorly impact your game then i wouldn't worry about it too much.
but if you are looking to fix this it might be a performance issue.
what kind of pc are you playing gd on?
