Progress not saving when I exit the game (Steam)

This has been happening for a few weeks now, but most of the time when I exit Geometry Dash (Steam) after making progress on a level, or really doing anything, when I open the game up the next time the progress I've made has been erased. This doesn't happen all the time but it does more often than it doesn't. I'm thinking maybe it's because I have the beta for Mega Hack v7, or maybe one of my other mods, but I'm asking here first in case anyone has the answer before I reset all my mods. If anyone can help it would be really appreciated.
