What will happen to the stars you got if you complete a level before it got unrated? Will you keep the stars or lose them? What about re-rated levels? Will you get more/less stars after the rating change?

I can definitely say that if the unrated level is a demon, you definitely don't lose the demon on your profile. I've beaten two demons that aren't demons anymore (deadlocked alpha, which was deleted, and luster, which was demoted to 9 stars), and I kept the demon count from both of them.

you only lose stars if you redownload the level so it doesn't have the stars in your saved tab anymore and then save & load

there are exceptions to this though and some levels award stars even after they are unrated, this is because GD keeps separate lists of level IDs and their star values in 3 different places and not all of these are in sync with the actual values on the server (there's about 200 unrated levels that still award stars when you load)
