how do you make good fakes

The 3d object lines ca be extremely useful in making fake structures. However, try and turn glow off. And another thing that can also be cool is if you dont use anything to signal what orbs and jump pads so the player can memorize. Lastly, dont make your fakes blind, unfair, or lead to an invisible death. You want the player to know what they died to, and then to know what they did to cause them to die. The player needs to know they are at fault for their death.

Yeah, the fake orb movement trick can also work for some funny transitions. You can get a player (in cube) to tap a yellow orb, but it doesnt work and they fall down. It kinda freaks them out for a sec because they think theyre gonna die, but you can put a portal/jumppad down out of view so they practically jump/fall into the transition for the next part. Pretty neat trick
