I really feel that using the hitbox mod is like hacking because it can totally make the game easier especially in memory levels.

It's definitely hacking, that's not up for debate. I think what you might be trying to ask is "is it cheating?", and I would say the answer to this is yes. It offers an unfair advantage to people that use it by modifying the game in a way that is not recreatable in-game or with hardware changes.

Ok so I've seen 2 uses of the hitbox mod. One is cheating and I think we can let the other one slide. I think the one that is definitely cheating would be using it always. ^ to add to this, I think it's fine to use the first version of this hack (where the hitbox is always visible while you're playing) in order to practice the level, as long as you're only using it for practice or runs. but it should definitely be invisible (or only visible on death) for the attempt where you actually beat it, in order for it to count. hopefully that makes sense
