Hi! When i was a kid i would create many levels. Then about a year ago i saved my account data and loaded it on my pc, and i saw all my local levels was gone. I was really sad, but came over it. Some days ago i found my old android tablet with GD Installed. i opened it and saw ALL MY LEVELS! I got happy and looked through many of them and had a great time. But then i wanted the levels over to my computer. (because my old tablet is over 7 years old and i dont think it will survive much longer) The thing is, if i save the levels on my account and load it on my computer, all the stats i've collected the past year will be gone. So then i tried to copy the local levels file from my tablet over to my computer. Well, then i found out that you will need to root your tablet, and if you root your tablet, all the data will get erased. So my old local levels is stuck on my tablet.
I would love if i could get some help or some suggestions.

antonolesen moved to GD Community (where threads about game problems go). Unfortunately I don't know if there's a solution for this, but hopefully someone else might have a suggestion.

Try using a apk extracter it pulled LITARTY every asset from the game so the levels have to be in ONE folder however when i tried it just pulled right out the apk so try transferring your system via usb debug mode if you dont know how go to settings/applications/development/enable usb debugging and your set cause you can grab the sd files from the pc and if your on windows right click on proprieties and click show hidden files you should be able to acces the sd cards Root folder from there you can access the gd folder

I did some adb commands to extract an backup.ab file. I then used a program that converted the file into a zip file, and inside that zip file where ALL MY DATA! I copied my computers CCGameManager.dat and CCLocalLevels.dat to a safe place, and copied my old CCLocalLevels.dat file from my tablet to my pc. and it worked! I now have my levels on my pc! I'm so happy!

Another way to do this would be verifying the level, uploading it unlisted, and then going on your PC and clicking the "my uploaded levels" button. There, you can copy the level using the button on the left. It might take a while to do this with a ton of levels, but if you ever need to copy just a few across, this is an easy way to do it.
