how good is your memory?

idk how to answer this question lol, I can memorize long lists of random stuff but I can't remember what I had for lunch today

It really depends on what I have to remember! When I was a kid, I used to memorize things like the US Presidents, state capitals, Star Wars characters, and stuff like that - it probably helped that I found some kind of entertainment in making lists of them to help me remember, so as a result I can still remember those today for the most part. Unfortunately it doesn't carry over to everything, though. If I could memorize math formulas, Spanish vocabulary and grammar rules, or anything my dad ever taught me, that would have been super helpful

I think my memory is pretty good, I usually don't have problems recalling events or remembering things I've learned. I think this is probably why learning languages isn't very difficult for me, I'm able to build my vocab pretty quickly.

I did a verbal memory test on human benchmark a while back (which tests short-term memory) and got 123 points. I also got 24 points on sequence memory, which really surprised me.
