So I just bought Geometry Dash on Steam, and It has a VERY low framerate and unsynced music. The game also slows down when opening a level. I have a i7-10750H 2.60GHz and 16 GB RAM. What could the issue be? Any tips on how to increase performance? I've tried lots of things but none of them work. I play GD on my phone and it runs perfectly, 60 FPS, everything normal, but I don't understand why It runs like this on my PC. Even when lowering the resolution, setting the textures on low and playing on windowed mode, It's still the exact same.
UPDATE: I found what the issue is. When my laptop charger is plugged in it lags. When unplugging, it runs perfectly. Is this a Geometry Dash issue or a computer issue? I always have my laptop charger plugged in, is this a thing I should avoid?
UPDATE 2: I managed to fix the main issue, but well, It seems like the issue is not completely fixed. The game lags when playing levels with lots of objects. I don't know what to do to solve this now. :/

Unfortunately I am not and have never been a PC player so I don't have the knowledge to help you xmrpolx, but I have moved your thread here to the GD Community board (which is where all game glitch reports should be made) so hopefully someone else who does know how to help will see it there.

When my laptop charger is plugged in it lags. When unplugging, it runs perfectly. This sounds like the exact opposite of what should be happening. By default Nvidia limits all games to 30 FPS when running on battery and when you're charging, everything should run as fast as possible. I'd probably recommend checking with Power Options in the Control Panel, switching the plan from Power Saver or Balanced to High Performance might help somewhat. It's also possible that the game is running on the integrated graphics card, in this case it might help to set it to run on the Nvidia one (though that usually causes a slightly higher input delay). This can either be done in Nvidia Control Panel (note that this option doesn't work for me personally - even if Nvidia says that it's running on the dedicated GPU, it might not actually be doing that) or in the Windows 10 Settings app (you can refer to this guide , this method is reliable in my experience at least). In this case it won't solve the core issue, as the integrated GPU you have is more than enough to run GD but it might help as a workaround at least. Forcing it to run on the integrated GPU instead of the dedicated one might help as well.

When my laptop charger is plugged in it lags. When unplugging, it runs perfectly. in the Windows 10 Settings app This worked! Finally, I've been trying for weeks! What I did was going to Window 10 Graphic settings, select Geometry Dash, options, and select the Intel(R) UHC Graphics. Thanks a lot for telling me to look there! Edit: Well. It seems like the issue is not completely fixed. The game lags when playing levels with lots of objects. I don't know what to do to solve this now. :/
