So while creating my new level, I ran into a problem where I need objects to be behind the editor grid (like in Problematic; there's a structure behind the player), but I can't find a way to do it. Anyone knows how to do it? [GD's version is 2.11]

While you can’t put objects behind the editor grid itself, the way to put objects behind the player is easy:
1. Select the objects you want to put behind the player. 2. Open the Edit Group Menu. 3. Set the Objects' Z-Layer to B1, B2, B3, or B4.
Now the objects will appear behind other objects and behind the player.

to the left of the player?
Add said objects too a new group eg 1, then set group one using a move tright to move it -50 in the x box with a 0 second move time.
