Hello! I am 09smurf ig, and I have been wondering how do people make levels that: Make your icon go buggy; Put you close to the end but never let you complete the level; Make the icon stop and go; and other weird and crazy stuff. I feel like to make a couple of levels like those.

Use move blocks to fake the icon freezing for more convincing results also use a j block to make it impossible to jump set move time to how long you want the icon to pause for and DONT FORGET to click lock to X not Y

All of these are done by moving start pos very far from the start of the level using hacks.
The technical explanation is that the further you get into the level, the less accurate movement becomes and eventually the amount of blocks the cube should move just gets rounded down to 0. This is also why the point where you stop moving is closer to the beginning of the level on higher framerates - the amount of blocks the cube moves every physics update (4x per frame) is smaller and therefore it gets rounded down to 0 sooner. Speed portals also affect this.
The icon being buggy is a similar thing, just instead of just the movement being rounded incorrectly, the coordinates for the individual images making up the icon get rounded incorrectly.
