Thread title, because I'm curious  (EDIT: When I say practical skills I am not referring to everyday things like brushing teeth, getting dressed, driving a car, etc. but more specific and niche skills that not everybody might have) For me, it would probably be the ability to either operate certain types of machinery that would be useful for specific jobs (namely things like lawn mowers, chainsaws, weed trimmers, and polesaws for landscaping) or to be able to categorize a lot of information in lists or whatnot without getting bored or making too many mistakes (because it is surprisingly really calming and satisfying to me, and would be useful for random office jobs or something). I can code I guess. That's about it though. I just like doing computer things. Definitely a very useful skill in today's world and probably will continue to be for awhile, though. I started trying to learn with a kids thing called Scratch back in 2016 but ultimately found out it wasn't for me when I took an actual Java class lol |

Scratch was my childhood lol. Most of my early childhood was just messing around on scratch.

Uhhhh. I can use Photoshop, decent with electronics/computers, Good with math and Im good at reading

A skill is defined as a developed talent or ability, so honestly being able to clean my teeth, take showers, use a toilet, dress myself, speak a language, read, write, count, and a lot of other seemingly basic human functionalities have a great case for being my most practical skill considering I didn't come out of the womb knowing how to do these things.
Of course I will also provide a "normal" answer. I can cook a variety of different foods, I'm familiar with how to build a PC and I am learning to code but I wouldn't say I'm at a level where it's super practical yet.
Also, my handwriting is highly legible. I wouldn't say it's a truly practical skill - mostly just a convenience for the reader, but I would at least consider it a merit and I'm sure it has some niche uses.

Cooking is definitely my most practical skill, along with being able to operate machinery such as a lawnmower. I'm still learning to cook various meals, but I'm proud of the progress I've made compared to when I was 13 |
