yes, all manual. I don't have sufficient programming knowledge to generate the list I typed like 1/3 of all demons already i made a program, will send list soon edit: edit 2: in case anyone wants to know how i did it (probably not the best way but whatever) i made the program here: gitlab.com/fivepixel/gdfsince i was rushing the last comma close to the end of the file isn't deleted, so i did it manually then i just used excel (data -> get data -> from file -> from json, opened the damn thing (levels.json), convert -> into table, then clicked on header to expand the lists into records, then selected columns to expand) copied excel to google sheets and done?
sorry to Colon if this thing caused harm to the website, should have known better

Thanks so much for this! Now the whole list is sorted, I just need a couple more reference demons and the list is set. If a demon is agreed by 2 or more people to be at an exact tier, that is placed in the list already. Also, if at least 2/3 of the people agree on a similar tier (range should be at most 2) I will average the tiers and put it into the list. Because of this, I still need much much much more response here. I'll list tiers that are in need of response so you guys can add more here. No demons placed: Tier 10, 12, 13, 19 Only 1 demon: Tier 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 14, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23
edit can everyone rate the gauntlet demons, I think I need some 2.1 demons in the reference list

There is no way in hell I can accurately make 25 tiers of examples, so I'll do 9 (three per difficulty and I won't do insane/extreme, but I'll give a lot of modern examples and explanations for easy-hard). Note that I'm avoiding picking levels that I don't believe should be even considered demon difficulty (e.g. the nightmare, the lightning road, starpunk, sadrop, etc), and I played all of these on 60hz mobile and PC (mostly mobile). I think just so I don't do this all day, I'll do easy demons now and medium/hard demons later. Low Easy: - Impact X by NiTro451 (This level is essentially a lot of really "open timings". This level seems to be timing-based, but you have a lot of reaction time for each obstacle. The transitions give you quite a bit of time beforehand to react, the orbs don't really require you to time anything, and a lot of the rest of the level is jumping onto platforms with no spikes. The flying sections are very open in comparison to higher easy demons, and it's overall a very easily sight-readable demon despite all the new 2.1 features it uses. The hardest part of this demon is the jump right after the very first black orb, which really says something. This would easily be tier 1 for me if I was putting this on a list of five easy demon tiers rather than three. Some could argue this might not even be a demon, though I think this would make for a really solid initial stepping stone into modern demons.)
- Aldeydo by Xatz (On top of being a very short level (a minute with a lot of auto sections, so like 45-ish seconds of actual gameplay), it's also very spacious and most timings are very simple. Towards the end, there are a couple of slightly tricky bits like the robot and the ball timing right after, but everything else is very simple. A lot of the time, there's even indicators showing where to jump, and the aforementioned ball timing even has text stating "timing" underneath it so players don't forget it's a timing (which is weird but whatever lol). This is definitely a 1/25 for me, and could arguably not even be a demon, but I think it could pass as one personally.)
- Adust by f3lixsram, Death Gauntlet level 4 (Out of 25 tiers, this is probably a 2 for me. This is a very slow level, and although the gameplay is a bit gimmicky at times, the corridors are all very spacious and the gameplay as a whole is pretty moderately paced and easy to read. It isn't quite on the same level as Impact X and Aldeydo, but it's definitely still on the easier side of easy demons.)
- Motion by TamaN (I'm not entirely confident about the placement of this one since it's hard for me to put myself in the shoes of someone who hasn't already memorized this learning-heavy level, but I do think it would be around a 2/25. There's a couple moving objects that can be confusing to people and some timings are a bit tough, but overall, this level's gameplay isn't super difficult. While there are timings, they're mostly pretty lenient and set you up before you do them. The learning factor and minor tight gaps in this level increase the difficulty to a 2/25 imo, but after learning it, it's mostly pretty easy.)
- PP by AmorAltra (Despite this level's length, the timings are pretty lenient and the level gives you an indicator of when to jump for pretty much every single input. The drop can be a little confusing before learning it due to the speed and more dynamic visuals, but the level doesn't get much harder than that. The length and the simplicity of the timings overall make this about a 2/25 imo, though it could possibly be a 1/25.)
- Meat Rush by RoiMousti (A large portion of this level is orbs that you can tap right away. There are some timings towards the beginning and end that can be a bit difficult, but for the most part, this level has very straightforward and simple gameplay. In addition, the ship and UFO parts are really spacious, though the wave parts could be potentially tricky. I'm thinking 2/25 for this? It has been a while since I played this so it could be a 1, but it's definitely not a 3 for me.)
Middle Easy: - Extinction by haoN, Doom Gauntlet level 1 (A lot of the more difficult parts in this level are the ship and wave timings, but to compensate, a lot of the cube and UFO sections are fairly easy and require very simple inputs. A little bit of practice with the harder sections in this level can make it pretty easy. This could be either tier 3 or tier 4 on a 1-25 list, but it's definitely more towards the middle than it is to tier 5 imo.)
- Bionic Button by Darnoc (This is just a very straightforward level. The level is pretty easy to learn overall and a lot of the corridors are very spacious and open. The main difficulty spikes are the wave sections toward the end of the level though, which are actually quite inconsistent. The rest of the level is very simple, though. This could maybe be a 2/25, but I'll mark it as a 3/25 since it does require a little bit of practice and the ending is fairly difficult.)
- Groovin Astronaut by kr1t (This is a pretty solid example of a level that has timings which are easy, but not super easy. It's a very well-rounded level with balanced gameplay that's ideal for a middle end easy demon. There aren't really any difficulty spikes aside from possibly the cube towards the end since it can be somewhat easy to forget which orbs you have to tap on and which ones you don't. This is a very solid 3/25 imo and probably one of the first levels I would think to list under this difficulty range.)
- HELLFIRE by SpKale & CactusDimension (While the ship sections in this level are somewhat spacious, they aren't as spacious as most of the low end easy demon examples. There's also some tricky timings towards 65-ish% that require a bit of precision, such as a wave section with two back-to-back dash orbs and some trigger orbs in a ship section. While no particular section is super difficult, having all of it combined together in a really long level (two minutes long) rounds it out to about a 3/5 imo.
High Easy: - Deadlocked by RobTop (While this level is a bit of a challenge, it isn't quite as "up there" as some medium demons imo. The trickiest parts of this level are some tight wave and ship bits, and it is unconventionally longer than a decent portion of online levels (a bit over a minute and a half long), but overall, it's a level that isn't too difficult to learn despite the relative abundance of moving objects. The level has a really good rhythm to it, which can definitely help players learn some of the more confusing sections (e.g. the mini ball before the "i like this part", the first ship part, etc). Despite the tight portions of the gameplay, I feel like the level as a whole is fairly easy to learn, and while it's definitely not quite on par with most other easy demons, I don't think it quite crosses the threshold of medium demon.)
- Zafari by Rustam (The first of this level is understandably intimidating for most players who aren't too skilled at the game. It features lots of really tight corridors and timings. However, after the ball section, the level's difficulty drops quite a lot. The corridors are much more spaced out and the level moves at a slower speed, allowing for some parts like the spider section to be timed more easily. The level is also extremely short; exactly a minute long. Some could argue the earlier parts bump up the rating for this level as a whole, but I think the later sections and the length of the level balance it down to a very high end easy demon.)
- Wild West by DanZmeN (The first half of this level is pretty easy; it would definitely be around 2/25 if the level was just this. However, the bossfight definitely ramps up the difficulty a bit. Lots of the corridors are very tight in this section and there's a lot of memory that can be understandably confusing given how much happens at once and the odd hitboxes of the guns' bullets. The level also ends with an incredibly tight mini ship unlike any of the ship corridors before this, and it's very easy to mess up at this point, especially due to the dark overlay above the screen. This is definitely a 5/25 for me; not quite a medium demon because most of the non-bossfight sections are pretty easy and consistent.)
- Dreamy Abyss by f3lixsram (This level contains a lot of very tight sections not commonly seen in easy demons, especially towards the beginning. The earlier parts of this level can be understandably intimidating at first, but the level gets a lot easier later on, and the level as a whole is very easy to read despite the screen flashes. This is probably a 4/25 imo because the level requires a lot of practice and the player needs to have good control with the wave and mini ship, though the later sections are a bit easier in comparison and the level doesn't require much learning, just patience and practice.)
- Cydonia by JacobROso (While this level is XL, it's pretty balanced throughout with only very minor difficulty spikes towards the beginning. The level is readable, but also has a few timings, especially towards the end. This is probably around a 4/25 overall imo.)
