. , it's not complicated and does a pretty good job of letting you know what you're getting into. . Yeah but if you play an extreme like acu, you will play it and then.beat it, thinking acu was easy, so then you will get into a level like zodiac, preparing for something along the difficulty of acu, if you haven't checked the.demon list. Anybody who has played the game long enough to be able to beat acu, will be knowing about the demon list. Aslo, as some have already mentioned here, creators will keep creating harder and harder levels as time passes. But that doesnt mean new demon difficulties must be introduced be introduced

Maybe instead of a ton of new difficulties, there could just be a "meter" added above or beneath each demon difficulty icon where the community can vote to fill it up to different levels depending on how hard it is when compared with other levels with the same general difficulty. Then again, it would be simpler to just add entire new difficulties instead since that feature already exists (and nobody really wants 2.2 to take any longer than it already has), so not really sure how this issue could be addressed - as long as the average skill level of GD and the limits that can be pushed keep going up, there probably won't ever be a straight answer.

I think that a difficulty between insane and extreme wouldn't hurt. The gap between Sakupen circles and levels like acu is like a whole difficulty in its own right so making like a middle ground would make extremes more consistent as a difficulty. But honestly I wouldn't delay 2.2 for it. We have waited too long lmao.

I actually like this idea more than most others I've heard

He should add one above extreme called 'top 10 demon' and in between them would be 'extreme+ demon'.

He should add one above extreme called 'top 10 demon' and in between them would be 'extreme+ demon'. The thing with this is, even though it could take a long time for it to happen, there are new demons being created and worked on quite a lot, so any demons in the top 10 are at least somewhat guaranteed to not keep their spots forever (sometimes they last awhile but there have been times where there seemed like there was a new #1 demon every month). Adding a whole new permanent feature to rate levels that could lose that rating and have to be fixed at any time just isn't efficient to me although it's still a nice idea. Given that a difficulty-based demon list does exist (it's the one on pointercrate from what I remember), it could be possible in the future to somehow connect the list with the actual game so any demon in-game has an indicator next to its icon that reflects its position on the list, but even if that does happen it's far down the road imo.

Even though it could still be convenient to be able to see a demon's rank on the list without having to go to Pointercrate and find it yourself, adding that to the game when the positions could still change often and that would probably be more trouble than it's worth.

If rob made a new difficulty, he would have to go through the work of deciding the difficulties of levels that already exist. And then changing them, not to mention the added stress from the community disagreeing with his choices for certain levels, so i don't think we should ask for a new demon difficulty!

This does hold true pretty often - right now, for example, levels categorized as Easy are really broad (sometimes they range from something like Stereo Madness-type gameplay to only having a single jump in them), so if a difficulty such as Super Easy was added there would be a lot of levels to look through and re-rate, and that would probably take a long time to do; even longer for demons.
