Late post but ok
So as you probably know, Small made a level a while ago called Peaceful. This horror level has a calm start but at fifty something % it gets scary.It also exploits trypophobia, which means fear to holes.
This level didn't get a rate, which I agree with because:
-This game is for children too
-The massive lag on the scary part, which lags even on the best devices.
However, I think the horror in this level is done great. This will probs be one of the best horror levels ever created.
So what do you think about it?

It’s one of my favorite levels in the game, but I do understand Rob’s reasons for not rating it.

Definitely triggers my Trypophobia, so I avoid looking at gameplay, but I muscled through it once and was super impressed at both Small's and Zylenox's parts. Cool level.

I actually really like it and I feel like the reason to not rate, while it's somewhat justified, I think it should at least just get a regular rating. I understand it's gross for people suffering with trypophobia, but overall I see a ton of effort put into the art and I think it deserves a bit more than it has. The only thing that bothers me is how laggy it is - even people with high-end computers can barely handle the level. This is the only serious issue I have with this level.

Everyone talks about the decoration and how spooky it is but no one talks about the gameplay and how it's really hard to see what to do, especially the non-spooky sections

One of the only horror levels thats actually creeped me out. The song was perfect for what the level wanted to do and I think it was executed pretty great actually

Should be rated. If being a kids game is what’s keeping it from at least getting rated then that one art level that missed out on getting into the monster gauntlet shouldn’t be rated either. I don’t remember what the level name was but it wasn’t added into the gauntlet because its art was too inappropriate for a kids game but it was still rated. Zylenox also has a bunch of satanic themed levels that are rated as well so things start to fall apart if the excuse for it staying unrated is because it’s too inappropriate for a kids game.

Should be rated. If being a kids game is what’s keeping it from at least getting rated then that one art level that missed out on getting into the monster gauntlet shouldn’t be rated either. I don’t remember what the level name was but it wasn’t added into the gauntlet because its art was too inappropriate for a kids game but it was still rated. I agree that the kid's game argument is dumb (Boom Kitty - Stomping Ground literally has a voice clip that says "Oh shit" and is used in multiple rated levels) but I think the reason for lack of rating may have to do with the specs required to properly run the level. Only a very small percent of the community would be able to complete it, not due to difficulty, but due to lag and crashing. You then have to consider if this would actually be an issue since playing a level is voluntary and there is a warning on levels with 40k+ objects that players with low end devices may not want to play them. I'd personally say it's a non issue all in all but there's probably a lot of people in the community who would make the mistake of genuinely attempting to complete it if it gets rated. |

There's no suspense or foreboding atmosphere, all it does is abuse trypophobia out of nowhere when the music changes

This is a really cool level. Even if it's not that scary, it executes its goal fairly well and it's pretty unique among the thousands of other levels in this game.

Levels like Astral Divinity also cause performance problems and that level has an epic feature. Then there’s the new SWI and Woodkid which will undoubtedly follow when they’re eventually released. It’s also not too uncommon for larger megacollabs to have several hundred thousand objects, which tanks basically all mobile devices and some lower end PCs. The point that I’m making is that there are levels out there already that are epic featured that also cause performance problems so it’s not the best metric to go off of. A working LDM would be nice for the level to have though and if it were to have one then there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be rated (not necessarily featured since parental controls don’t restrict that). |

The level's decoration is pretty good but it made the gameplay harder. To be honest, I wish I have a better computer so that I can play this level.

The "peaceful" parts suck, but the horror ones are pretty good, well, except of the lag.
