Even though Nintendo didn't technically make it (Square Enix did that), they distributed some of a series of RPGs called Dragon Quest after porting them from their 1990s versions 20 years later. I've played IV and VI - immensely enjoyed them both. Although IV had a better storyline, characters more diverse in personality, and less annoying grinding to do, VI was the first I played and has characters more memorable to me, more difficult bossfights (the final boss, Mortamor, was/is widely considered to be the most difficult main game boss in the entire series), and a world more fun to explore. I haven't played them in a while though, since I replayed VI for the third or fourth time in January last year and completed it in a couple weeks and completed IV in July after around 2 months of play. Main complaint is that they are somewhat shorter than some of the other more modern games in the series, and become shorter the more you replay them lol. Hopefully will grab V if I'm interested enough, it was the most popular of these three and was widely considered to have excellent characters and one of the best storylines in the entire series to this day (being surpassed only by VIII, I think). I remember when I first got into these games, 2012 - good times. Sorry for the history lesson  |

The best nintendo game that I've played goes to either Super Mario Odyssey or either SMG title. Both are great games and really capitalize on a lot of what I like in video games. They're easy and fun enough to have a lot of replay value, but you're still able to challenge yourself with them in different aspects. Definitely some of my favorite nintendo titles and likely some of my favorite games of all time.

Probably Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I think it's a really good addition to the Fire Emblem series and Maddening difficulty makes the gameplay feel extremely rewarding.
Other than that, maybe Octopath Traveler?

Nintendo has such a wide library of games that I can't choose which one is my definite favourite, so I'll just list the ones that stick out to me:
Super Mario Maker 2 - Probably my most favourite and I really have to get back and make more levels
Mario Kart DS - The best Mario Kart game by far as it had so many great additions that made the game fantastic even playing in single-player
New Super Mario Bros - First Mario game I ever played and I love it to bits
Super Mario World - Most fun I've had in a 2D Mario game and 100% it felt soo rewarding
Smash Ultimate - Its just fun to boot it up and mess around with my mates though Duck Game is still my current favourite party game
Pokemon Black - First Pokemon game I beat and I came back to it a while ago and beat it again and its just really good all the way through
Kirby Squeak Squad - First game I 100%'d and a very solid and unfortunately quite forgotten title. I feel it still holds up really well with its gameplay, art style and many secrets and unlockables

SMG, absolutely amazing game. I had a blast playing both this and 2, but i prefered the first onne because i have more memories with it. I actually 100%ed SMG twice (yeah, two times with both mario and luigi) and SMG2 once
