Very much same. I don't know how exactly it will compare to New Leaf but I'm quite excited to get it when it comes out anyway. New Leaf was my favorite game for quite a while and I have so many fond memories from 2014-2017. Will be the first $60 game I buy on release date in years.

My friend is very excited for it that he already digitally preordered it, and after watching the direct myself I might even get the game! It looks like a great game to just switch your brain off and mess around with it for half an hour a day.

Not planning to get the new one, but I did sink a good amount of hours into New Leaf. I’ll say I’m especially happy for all the people who have been waiting for a new entry for so long.

I might get it. It would be my first animal crossing game if I got it. I don’t know much about the games but from what I gather they have a pretty positive perception.

I might get it, I'm really unsure as of yet tbh. I sunk a lot of hours into new leaf so i think i might enjoy this one too.

I've never played Animal Crossing at all but I have a friend who's a huge fan of it, and he recommended it to me. Although I could potentially get New Horizons if I feel like it/copies actually exist without being bought already due to popularity, I might even try getting the games released for DS and 3DS, and perhaps even the one for the Wii. Probably cheaper and more commonly found at the moment.
