YIKES! @gwblazed77 please lock this, it's too controversial and political for the forums. You should probably lock this before people start throwing around death threats and doxxing each other since people feel so strongly about this issue. I don't want anyone to murder each other. On topic: it's meh. Tastes good with ham. Not with other things. I, too, get riled up over the fact that my deliberate attempt to foment controversy on the forums was reasonably hindered. Pineapple on pizza’s not my favourite lol, but it honestly isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be. My problem is that I haven’t grown accustomed to the topping lmao |

That wasnt my intention at all, I was joking about the controversial nature of this topic... did you even read my post at all or jump to conclusions and deliberately misinterpret my post? If anyone wants to respond to me, please PM me, I dont want to derail this discussion any further.------ On topic: usually sweet and savory pairings are accepted in other areas so I dont really see a problem here although the saltiness of the cheese might clash with the sourness and acidity of the pineapple. |

It's fine and this debate is pretty overhyped imho. I'm not even a huge defender of pineapple since I think it's basically just another topping that isn't different from other fruits/veggies like tomatoes, olives, artichokes or whatever. I just get upset from all the people who try to gatekeep opinions that they don't hold. Not only does it not work comedically (cause it's the same joke over and over) but it's just plain mean-spirited to devalue other people's opinions.

It takes zero effort to let people enjoy what they want so why even bother being a nuisance if it's harmless? Much like how it takes zero effort to not make jokes at other's expense.
