English because unimportant literature is forced down our throats half the time and every line gets analyzed to death, almost to a point where each line is squeezed dry of any subliminal messages even if the intended takeaway from the line is more than obvious. This I have to agree with. Sometimes the actual storyline is more important. Author: the door is blue Teacher: NOW the DOOR signifies a BORDER between the OUTSIDE and INSIDE and the color BLUE represents calm and tranquillity blah blah blah Author: nah dude I just meant the door had blue paint on it Can I give this post only one like? : (

Whoa, I'll divide my answers into my least favorite and what I don't think should be taught. My least favorite was definitely Spanish. I took it for four consecutive years (due to graduation requirements) and really didn't like it one bit. If I had to choose a course to be removed, probably History or some selective form of English classes. Some of what they try to bring up to teach in English doesn't seem all to necessary most of the time.
