Same opinion that I posted on the last thread dealing with abortion. I think it’s morally reprehensible but the ramifications of making it illegal far outweigh the benefits. It’s already been introduced so you can’t just take it away. People will just result to aborting in unsafe matters to get the abortion. What I don’t like is fathers who want their child having it aborted behind their back. I think in cases where one parent wants the child, the child shouldn’t be aborted. It’s just as much the father’s child as it is the mother’s and I know damn well that if the father wanted the child that he’d be willing to carry it for 9 months to term. We just aren’t that biologically lucky to get that option. But that’ll never happen. A more reasonable thing would be a cynical approach. A mother still gets her right to choose (even though I still don’t like it and think it’s morally wrong), but if she chooses to keep it then the father shouldn’t be forced to pay for it.
