Switch platform 'correctly'
A lot of players switch their platform and lose their datas. Here I show you how to do it correctly:
1. Save
At first, make sure that you've saved your recent achievements on the personal 'cloud' of Geometry Dash.
For saving your datas you have to follow these steps:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your old platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Save-button.
5. Click/Tap on Save-button when you get a notification
If you get the confirmation:
Backup Successfull
, your account has been saved, but don't delete Geometry Dash from your old platform!
For saving your datas you have to follow these steps:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your old platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Save-button.
5. Click/Tap on Save-button when you get a notification
If you get the confirmation:
Backup Successfull
, your account has been saved, but don't delete Geometry Dash from your old platform!
2. Log in
Secondly, you have to log in to your account on your new platform. All you need is your username and your password.
Follow these steps to log in:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your new platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Login-button
5. Enter your Username and your password there and Click/Tap on the Login-button then.
To check whether the log in was successfully, follow step 1-3 again. Then you can read something like:
Linked to Account: Your Username.
That means that you logged in successfully.
Follow these steps to log in:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your new platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Login-button
5. Enter your Username and your password there and Click/Tap on the Login-button then.
To check whether the log in was successfully, follow step 1-3 again. Then you can read something like:
Linked to Account: Your Username.
That means that you logged in successfully.
3. Load
As a last step - yes, you have not finished yet - you have to download your game data from the cloud. Most of the players forget this step and lose their data.
Follow these steps to load your account:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your new platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Load-button
5. Click/Tap on Load-button when you get a notification
If you have downloaded your account, you see something like:
Account has been restored
Now you can choose your icons and your colors and play with all achievements, you already got on your old platform.
Follow these steps to load your account:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your new platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Load-button
5. Click/Tap on Load-button when you get a notification
If you have downloaded your account, you see something like:
Account has been restored
Now you can choose your icons and your colors and play with all achievements, you already got on your old platform.
Manage Account
If you want to create an account, follow these steps for register:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Register-button
5. Fill all spaces there (Username, Password, E-Mail*!) and click on the Submit-button then.
6. Then you get a notification (open the spoiler below), that you got a confirmation email, which has been send to your inbox. Click/Tap on the ok-button
7. You have to activate your account: log in to your email account in browser or in your email-app (log in to your email account, not your Geometry Dash-account. Your Geometry Dash-account is not existing yet!). Check your inbox there (the email could be in spam-folder, too).
8. Open your email and read it. Click/Tap on the link Click Here then (If the username is yours, disregard this email if it not contains your username).
9. Click/Tap on the checkbox in the captcha. Then click/tap on verify-button. Now you will be pass on another website, which shows you: (open the spoiler below)
That means, that you can log in now. Please follow the steps in Log in to your (new) account then. (You can close the website and log out of your email/account)
*You just need your email to verify your account. It will be not used for sending ads to your email.

8. Open your email and read it. Click/Tap on the link Click Here then (If the username is yours, disregard this email if it not contains your username).

That means, that you can log in now. Please follow the steps in Log in to your (new) account then. (You can close the website and log out of your email/account)

6. Click/Tap on the Yes-button if a notification has opened

8. Click/Tap on Change Username.
9. Enter your new username there. Note: You are able to change your username only for once per week!
10. Click/Tap on the 'Change Username'-button
11. Click/Tap on Return to manager
12. Click tap on Logout

8. Click/Tap on Change Password.
9. Enter your old password and then your new password2 there. Re-type the new password then
10. Click/Tap on the 'Change Password'-button
11. Click/Tap on Return to manager
12. Click tap on Logout

3.3 Refresh Login*
Don't forget to refresh login after managing your account!

2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the More-button
5. Click/Tap on the 'Refresh Login'-button
6. Enter your new username/password/username and password there. Click/Tap on the Login-button then.
7. Then a notification has opened. That means that your Login success. Click/Tap on the ok-button there.

4. Save

3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the Save-button.
5. Click/Tap on Save-button when you get a notification

6. Unlink Account
You want to Unlink your account (or 'log out' in Geometry Dash)? Follow these steps then:
1. Open Geometry Dash on your platform
2. Click/Tap on the cogwheel-button
3. Click/Tap on the Account-button
4. Click/Tap on the More-button
5. Click/Tap on the 'Unlink Account'-button
6. Then you get a notification (Click to show the spoiler below: It contains the text of the notification). Click/Tap on the Unlink-button.
7. Then you get another notification (Click to show the spoiler below: It contains the text of the notification). Click/Tap on the delete-button then.
Now you are unlinked and there are no save data of your account on this platform. However you can sign in again. All data, which was not saved on the cloud, are deleted!

4. Click/Tap on the More-button
5. Click/Tap on the 'Unlink Account'-button
6. Then you get a notification (Click to show the spoiler below: It contains the text of the notification). Click/Tap on the Unlink-button.

Now you are unlinked and there are no save data of your account on this platform. However you can sign in again. All data, which was not saved on the cloud, are deleted!
