Everybody makes mistakes, otherwise some of us wouldn't be here nowadays. Anyways, what's a funny mistake you've made?
Here's mine.
So, one time I was a brain-dead five year old. My mother and father were holding some sort of fancy block party at the house for whatever reason, it's been so long. Anyways, there was a girl down the street who was 3 years older than me who I always hung out with and played outdoors with because she used to be the outdoorsy type like I was. We'd climb trees and stuff like that. Anyways, she came over, and we basically avoided a lot of the adults so we could grab my father's riding lawn mowers and race in the backyard (These were very different times). That was before I saw hundreds of lights lighting up the path to the garage, which later turned out to be candles. I couldn't recall the first time I had seen a candle before that day, so I was dumbfounded. I walked up to one, and tried to touch the flame. Immediately after, the worried little girl ran up to my mother and explained that I was screaming in pain because I had set fire to my shirt. I was running around like a maniac before my mother got the hose. The next week days was quite painful because of all the burns I got. Let's just say, the girl never let me hear the end of it before I eventually moved away.
Any other funny stories of stupid mistakes you've done?

most mistakes ive done are regarding pokemon battles
-using a ground move against a levitating pokemon
-using a normal move against ghost types
-randomly copying teams from smogon for pokemon showdown and not knowing how to use them (thats why i never use magearna)
-spamming legendaries for anything goes category
-using a sturdy pokemon against mega kangaskhan
-being an idiot and putting assault vest with a swords dance
-being an idiot and putting a choice item and swords dance
-there are more but i forgot

Ok so one time, when I was like 7, my parents told me I was going to the barber's that evening. So being the genius I was, instead of going to the horrible barber shop, I decided to take out the scissors I use for origami and cut my own hair. No apron, no mirror, no comb. I remember the shock on my parents' faces, who then brought me to the barber's anyway, except now I have no choice but to go for a nearly bald cut. The barbers and their customers laughed loudly upon my arrival, and in the mirror my hair looked a bit like a bird's nest.

Last year, during a Biology class, our professor was asking some questions about the lesson, so I raised my hand because I thought I knew the answer. Emphasis on thought. I started answering his question and I said somthing among the lines of "<insert a specific set of cells I don't know the name of> protect us from the elements of nature (?)". And after that, EVERY single person laughed, including the professor who was like "Umm... Sure, whatever you said". I even had the nickname of "Nature" just because of that incident, which is written in a t-shirt of mine  Though, I do look at that memory fondly, I wish school was filled with more memories like that even if it's not super miserable either. |

When i was 6 i stole my mom's credit card because everyone said that they stole it even i stole it but i didn't know what to do with it so i thrown it to the garbage

So I was a bit quick in closing the microwave to cook something and didn't notice the bag of chips perfectly flush against the back of the microwave.

This was when I was like 12.
One time there were like three hairs in between my eyebrows and so I noticed we had an unopened electric razor in the basement and decided to use it. I ended up shaving off part of my right eyebrow.

I don't know, whether I'am allowed to tell you this mistake (because of pegi13). However I do: It was in 8.th class in my high school (There are only elementary schools and high schools in my country), in the lesson, which learns us to speak our own language correctly (like in U.S.A.: English or in Spain: spanish). We learned, how we could say or interpret something. The teacher gave us a text, which we had to analyse, the 4 kinds of interpretations (informal-interpretation, the 'personally-interpretation', the relation-interpretation and the appeal-interpretation (that are unofficial names created by me, sorry for wrong vocabulary but I hope you know what I mean)). So we read a dialog (a discussion of a man and his wife, who cooks eggs for him) and has to write the interpretation of some special sentences. One was: 'I have the right feeling when I cook'. The teacher wanted that I say the solution of this sentence in relation-interpretation. So I said the solution is: 'I'm your wife and I have the right feeling for your eggs.' So EVERYONE laughed loudly incliding the teacher. I needed some seconds to realize why and whats wrong with my solution... and then I found out. It was so embarrassing for me. 😶 |

I wasn't allowed to have any electronic devices like my iPod upstairs in my room while I was sleeping (this is still happening today, I can't keep my phone upstairs), but for Christmas of 2012 I received my first 3DS, which I was obsessed with. So far in my life my parents were confident in me to follow any rules set forth, or at least as confident as you can be in a stupid little kid. One night in early 2013, a few months after getting the 3DS, 9-year-old me decided to sneak it upstairs and play it a little, but just a little! And only for one night! I knew I could count on my little brother to keep everything quiet if he saw me playing it.
I was completely mistaken. My brother saw me playing and told my parents, and I had the 3DS and all other forms of electronic entertainment taken from me for an extended period of time, and probably shattered my parents' trust in me forever, whether or not I would think about doing this again (I wouldn't). GG, younger me.
