Let's say you're the administrator of Geometry Dash and the epic rating has been implemented. What'd be your picks from the current levels to be worth an epic rating? I'm curious about what standards people have towards the highest rating in the game.
I personally don't have high ratings at all for a regular rate, however I prefer epic rated levels to be actually very well made or creative.
Here are some levels I'd pick (there may be more but I either don't remember or there's too many to choose):
I ignored the fact that some of the level lag, because they either have low detail modes, or it's just the game not being well optimized for stuff like that (rotate trigger, please).
There are some levels I really like too, but I think they aren't good enough for epic, because of either because they've aged poorly or have some bigger flaws:
I could think about more levels, but that'd take too much time and I don't remember all levels. I'm curious what would everyone else pick because players have different standards and viewpoints on what level is good.

- In Silico by Rafer
- Xenomorphosis by Goose
- MasterGame by Serponge
- Game Time by SimilarAMZ
- Astromium Dimensha by Maelstorm & Reunomi
- The Eschaton by Xender Game
- Amethystia by Xender Game & MakFeed
- Quantum Variations by Darwin
- Magma Bound by ScorchVx
- Aleph 0 by Zhander (probably controversial, but idc it's a layout, it's very unique)
- Smohcs by Durianhead (although the lack of difficulty balance bothers me)
- Self Reflect by Flashmick72
- Rebirth by Genericqueso
- Countercurse Mantra by Reunomi
- Anesthesia by Reunomi
- A Daydream Journey by Azertiop
- Citadel Of The Skies by ML500
- Against the God by 1374

There are some levels I really like too, but I think they aren't good enough for epic, because of either because they've aged poorly or have some bigger flaws:
- Saturn V by Nasgubb (very fun gameplay, however it's a little dated nowadays)
- Black Blizzard by KrmaL (very unique theme, however the gameplay is infamous for being really annoying)
- Strange Color by Jayuff (there's something weird that I like in this level, because it nails something A LOT of levels fail - good use of minimalistic design. Despite this I wouldn't call it epic worthy though)
- Fiji by Nasgubb (really cool effects for a very early 2.1 level, however the gameplay is not particularly interesting, mostly because it's an easy level)
- Aquafina by Kips (if we're talking about Fiji, let's not forget the remake. It looks even better than Fiji, but I feel like the quality drops a bit in the last few sections)
- Earthquake by Sharks (I was surprised that Sharks could build levels like this. It looks cool, but I think the bossfight could have been more varied and interesting)
- Windy Landscape/Colorful Overnight/Death Moon (three awesome 1.9 classics which hold up until today, however nowadays I wouldn't be sure if I'd epic them. Back in the day though - definitely)
- Nine Circles by Zobros (this level was pretty revolutionary back then, but nowadays I'd say it looks a bit dated. It created the biggest trend in GD's history due to how creative the gimmick was)
